Four New Ways to Work More Efficiently with Kerio MailServer
May 5, 2009 – 5:42 pm1. Type only one
Instead of typing multiple email addresses each time you create a new email, use a distribution list. A distribution list can help you save time by combining a group of emails that you frequently send emails to under one name. Create distribution lists in Microsoft Outlook and Kerio WebMail.
2. Stay in the loop
Synchronize email, calendar and contacts wirelessly with smartphones, so traveling employees can stay up to date with the latest emails and respond to meeting invitations while on the road. Connect your smartphone to Kerio MailServer through the ActiveSync protocol or NotifyLink service.
3. One less password
Integrate with Active Directory, Apple Open Directory or other LDAP servers so users can use the same domain passwords for email.
4. Maintain internal contacts for all users
Maintain the company directory in a Global Address List instead of having people individually maintain a directory with their personal Contacts folder. Save everyone time by having one person update the directory when there is a new employee, or a change in someone’s last name, phone extension or job title. The Global Address List is the Contacts folder under Public folders in Outlook, Entourage and WebMail.
